These are the new objects of my affection. I cannot find my size. Over the next few days, I shall be preoccupied with stalking these Bebe Sport Bon Ton Go Girls in black.
I can order the Pumas today, but my rebellion against consumerism is forcing me to wait until next Tuesday. Black Friday and Cyber Monday will not win!


I have been stalking the Danskos below for over two months. There are rumors that these are made in narrow width, but I have not seen a trace.
Same story with the red and black riding Pumas.

In Honor of My Mother

My mother ran a beauty salon for over 37 years with the main purpose of creating the illusion of "good hair". When I first saw the trailer for the Chris Rock documentary, Good Hair in the theatre, I was immediately reminded of my mother and her salon. What We Could Have Had: I Need This! I Need This!

These arrived in the mail today. All were too wide. I will return all, except the Naturalizers (mustard sandals); they fit best. I wear 10AA. All the shoes are size 10AA, but fit more like 10M. The Haven (red slides) fit more like 10W! The Haven may have been mis-sized. Nordstrom no longer have the 10N, so I cannot exchange them for another 10N. I shall try to find them somewhere else.
