Au Naturale, Clean, Whole, and Pinterest!

Today, I finished the three day process of making natural liquid hand soap with lavender Castille bar soap, glycerin, water, tea tree oil, and coconut oil. I also made hand sanitizer with alcohol, glycerin, and tea tree oil. I consumed all whole foods. I even started preparing the yard for vegetable and herb gardening. Thanks to any number of soap recipes on Pinterest!

I am back! Birthday Resolution

My birthday resolution is to start posting things for which I am thankful. This will be a good start for right now. I am so glad to be back. This EARLY morning I awakened to the 1958 movie Indiscreet. I spent the first hour of my birthday with two of my favorite males, Cary Grant and Henry my tuxedo cat.

My "fashion" friend was depressed, so I allowed him to twist my arm into accompanying him to the Galleria so he could add another investment piece to his Ralph Laren colection. I willingly, with no twisting, purchased a $9.00 boyfriend jacket. My clothes buying freeze was thawed. After almost three months, I must start over. Can I go until November or minus 20 pounds?

Ah, the simple tings in life. A cayenne flour tortilla with black beans, pinto beans, corn, rice, lettuce, cilantro, and cheese is good, very good. All of this and running a place who produces this culinary delight while listening to classic rock and 80s music while wearing band tees and leather is ambrosia. When I retire, I am going to open a Freebird's franchise.
